Marta Karn, DVM
Dr. Karn received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Tampa in 2011. While obtaining her degree, she started volunteering at a local Humane Society and realized her true passion for veterinary medicine. She moved to Colorado and worked as a veterinary technician while also completing her studies for a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Colorado State University. Dr. Karn obtained her doctorate degree from Colorado State University in 2020 and joins the Petcardia team as the Cardiology Intern.
Dr. Karn is extremely excited to learn from the team at Petcardia and to continue her training towards becoming a board certified cardiologist. She hopes to provide compassionate care and thorough communication to her patients and clients, while also working towards the goal of becoming a mentor to the next generation of veterinarians.
When not trying to learn all about cardiology, Dr. Karn spends her free time with her husband Matt, sons Greyson (3) and Oakley (6 months), their two dogs Sunny and Simba, and cat (who rules the house) Monroe aka Mrs. Kitty.
