Anne Cordts was originally from Baton Rouge, LA but grew up in several countries including Belgium and Saudi Arabia. Her father was a vice president of Exxon Mobil and therefore traveled extensively as a child. She spent the majority of her childhood in Houston, TX where she graduated high school. She accepted a scholarship to attend Colorado State University where she studied business, ultimately receiving her BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. Upon graduation, she realized her love of veterinary medicine would not be silenced. Therefore, she enrolled at Bel Rea Institute of Animal Technology and received her Associate of Applied Science the following year. She worked as a relief tech and then surgical tech at Alameda East for 3 years and then moved to southern California and became a surgical technician at Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Irvine, CA for another 2 years. She started management in 2007 and was hired to start a new specialty center in Salt Lake City, UT in 2008. She ultimately built this practice from the ground up and grew the staff from 30 to over 100 in 12 years, as well as adding multiple specialties and advanced diagnostics throughout the years. In 2021, she joined the Petcardia team as the Practice Manager and is thrilled and reinvigorated to join such an amazing team!
